OVERNIGHT CHARGE

DELIVERY / PICK UP TIME

Our company also provides overnight service. If the party runs till late, then we can pick up the castle the next morning, as long as arrangements have been made for the collection.

Abbey Bouncy Castles offers this service just for an extra £30 (10ft x 12ft, 12ft x 12ft),

£40 (combos), and £50 (slides, 15ft x 15ft). NOTICE: We can only leave a bouncy castle in a secure place.

What Do I Need To Book an Inflatable or a Soft Play Set?

To book a castle we will need your full name, address, mobile number, and the name & full address of your venue.

We also will ask if a castle will be going indoors, or outdoors. If outdoors, will it be placed on grass, concrete, artificial grass, tarmac, gravel, pavers, decking, or any other surface.

We deliver in the morning between the hours of 07:00 – 12:00 (Saturdays), 08:00 – 12:00 (Sundays), and 08:00 – 12:00 (week days). Our collection time is from 17:00 onwards.

You do not need to pay anything when you book a castle. It will be cash on delivery.

What Happens If It Rains?

Our bouncy castles have built-in shower covers, so a shower or two is no problem. If the weather is going to be too bad (heavy rain/high winds) on the day of your party we offer a free weather cancellation policy in bad weather conditions. We do not charge for weather-related cancellations. Any cancellation must be done on the morning of your hire before 8 am or you can contact us the night before your hire and we can tell you your expected delivery time which gives you chance to actually see what the weather is going to be on the day. If you cancel when we arrive at your venue you will be charged 50% of your total hire price as a late cancellation charge, so please call us if you have any concerns. We reserve the right to cancel all deliveries with no charge to a customer in bad weather conditions that could make the inflatable unsafe for use, especially if the inflatable has to be put on concrete.

What time will you arrive?

We deliver in the morning between the hours of 07:00 - 12:00 (Saturdays), 08:00 – 12:00 (Sundays), and 08:00 – 12:00 (week days). If you have a specific time in mind, please let us know when you are booking your inflatable, and we will do our best to deliver at this time.

How long can I keep the bouncy castle?

We deliver in the morning between the hours of 07:00 – 12:00 (Saturdays), 08:00 – 12:00 (Sundays), and 08:00 – 12:00 (week days). Our collection time is from 17:00 onwards, if you want a later collection, you will need to have an overnight booking. When you make your booking, we will talk about collection times and check the time of your party to make sure your collection fits around your arrangements.

What Condition Are Your Bouncy Castles In?

All of our inflatables are in pristine condition. We guarantee our units will be clean and in good condition.

Can we move the bouncy castle?

No, for safety reasons once the bouncy castle has been delivered and installed and our staff has left, it must not be moved under any circumstances.

Can your bouncy castles be used indoors?

Yes, we set up bouncy castles indoors in venues such as community centers, village halls, schools, nurseries, church halls, public houses, bars, hotels, etc. We provide sandbags in these situations to secure the units.

Can I book at the last minute?

You can leave it until the day of your event to book an inflatable, but don't be surprised if we have no availability. In the summer months or bank holiday weekends, we recommend booking in advance as castles are in heavy demand.

What should I do before you arrive?

Our bouncy castles are delivered on a sack barrow, so we will need clear access for this. Make sure paths and access to your garden are free of obstacles and minimum 2½ ft wide. We carry extension cables, so the castle must be within 30 m of a power supply - it is unsafe to join cables. You should also check that the area is free of debris, and clear up after any animals that you have had in your garden. Either a flat suitably sized grass area or if you are using a hall then please check the height of the venue against the height of the unit ordered or check with us. We do everything else that is required including delivery, setup, and collection, We supply all the equipment required including safety crash mats, rain cover, extension cables, and anchor stakes or sandbags to secure the inflatable. Please have the payment ready in cash for when the driver delivers the unit.

What sort of surface do you need for the bouncy castle?

Bouncy castles, slides and our other inflatables situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy or concrete area. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, animal mess, or excessive mud, otherwise, our teams won't leave the inflatables.

How long do you need to set-up and take down a bouncy castle?

It takes between 10 and 15 minutes to set up a bouncy castle and about 15 to 20 minutes to take it down.

Who will keep my child safe on a castle?

The hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is adult supervision at all times of the unit and equipment, and the people using it.

Do I need to keep the blower running?

Yes, the blower must be running constantly whilst the bouncy castle, slide, or combo is in use. If there is a sudden change in weather and there are strong winds or heavy rain, clear all the children off the unit, switch off the blower and let the unit deflate.

What happens if I have a problem with a bouncy castle or other equipment on the day?

Rest assured we are always contactable. You need to call us immediately if any problem arises. We will endeavor to sort out a problem as quickly as we can.

Do you supply safety mats?

Yes, we supply the necessary safety mats with every bouncy castle which comply with current Health and Safety Regulations.

Is there an age limit for children using the bouncy castle, slide or other inflatable?

Yes, all of our bouncy castles are suitable for children up to and including the age of 13. Our 15x15 ft castles are suitable for children and adults of all ages. We advise that children and adults do not use a bouncy castle at the same time.

Can you supply staff to supervise the bouncy castles?

We don't supply staff to supervise our castles - but we are happy to let you know what to watch out for.

No. Once a unit is out, it is out, and far as we are concerned you can have it all day because we won't onbe able to rehire this unit in the same day.
